Why we can't change the world through parliament
2:00am Fri 15 Apr

About this session
Parliament is held up as the pinnacle of democracy. Elections, we're told, are how ordinary people get a say in the running of society. So piecemeal reform through parliament can seem like an easier road to socialism than a revolution. But every attempt to change the system from within has ended in disaster for the working class. This session will go through why the state serves the capitalist class and why it has to be smashed to win a socialist society.
